“ Wow! Who would have guessed that this hole-in-the-wall dive bar would have such good food. We went on a week night and the place had a respectable group of "regulars" gathered around the bar, but we were seated quickly. You can wait to order but we wanted to see what was on tap so we went to the bar to order drinks and food. The bar tender was amazing and recommended some great drinks and food that she knew was good. She wasn't wrong, great food, cheap, and watching the old dudes play pool badly was a bonus. ”
“ Salisbury steak lunch special a little greasy gravy good corn standard the steak had onions and mushrooms on it it was pretty pretty good $9.50 on a Wednesday ”
“ I had seen so many posts about The Dutch that I was really excited about trying it, so my friend and I had lunch there recently. It was a Wednesday, so I ordered the special-- hot turkey sandwich (which is the reason I wanted to go there in the first place,) and my friend had the club sandwich and a house salad. It's really a fun sports bar with food, so it's a +21 place. The whole place is clean and spotless. There's a fun and friendly atmosphere, the customers there must be regulars as many of them know each other, which I liked. And the staff must be doing it right, because in the hour we were there, there was a steady stream of customers The servers are really good at their job; they're friendly and attentive. The portions are big--my plate was too much for me to finish, and my friend ate her house salad, which was larger than the normal house salad, and ended up taking most of her sandwich home. So if you're looking for a friendly sports bar that serves much more than the normal bar food, I suggest you give The Dutch a try. ”
“ The Dutch is a 5 star dive bar. They food is 100% consistent. The place is clean, and the atmosphere is always a good time. Yakima's hidden gem, until you find it. Then it's a glowing beacon of smiles and a belly of love ”
“ We've been hearing about this place for almost as long as I can remember caring about restaurants. It's located in kind of an odd spot in between a couple of one-way thoroughfares near downtown. My brother and I decided we need to check this place out for lunch one random Monday! It's very literally a bar that opens early and has chosen to focus on making food that doesn't suck. At 11:30 on a Monday there's what I suspect was The usual crowd there of about 10 or 12 folks largely having the special of the day and a bud light or two. We decided to try the chicken fried steak sandwich and for the #WashingtonBurgerQuest decided to try the double Dutch burger. This burger was an absolute beast! Basically double everything add ham, and egg and grill the bun up right - this was an amazing burger! Honestly, it was probably big enough for three people and was almost too big to fit in my hand. The chicken fried steak sandwich was also quite good and I found the tater tot's were better than expected! A nice added bonus. The service was excellent and the people that were also dining here were very nice. We had some great conversations with the folks next to us and left full in belly and soul! They've really upped their game here and it shows. This is great divey bar with excellent food and a lot of personality! Worth stopping in, at least for lunch! ”
